Would Vanessa Bryant Reconciling with Kobe Bryant be a Bad Thing? I Think Not!

In recent news, Vanessa Bryant was photographed smooching with her ex-husband, Kobe Bryant after the Los Angeles Laker’s 86-78 victory over the Atlanta Hawks at the Staples Center.

According to TMZ, Kobe Bryant wants to make his relationship with Vanessa work. Sources close to the family told TMZ, Kobe’s two daughters are playing a major role in his effort to reconcile with Vanessa Bryant. Well, apparently Vanessa is having a change of heart too. She was seen in her red dress and red heels, giving Kobe a congratulatory kiss by the locker rooms.

Despite what the mass media is saying about her caught kissing Kobe after she divorced him (only to receive half of his fortune), I’m quite ecstatic that they’re on a good level with each other. Too many divorces end in terrible bickering and differences over what happens to the children, that this love connection shown between Kobe and Vanessa should be welcomed by fans and those (like me) who were hoping they could or would work it out.

Most people don’t realize that since Kobe and Vanessa were married for over a decade, they’re going to have some affection still left hidden in their hearts no matter who did what to end the relationship. People need to understand that regardless of infidelity, a marriage can indeed be healed and two people can be reunited.

True love is unconditional.

Just as God looks over our many faults and forgives us daily, we should all try to be the same way towards those we love in our life. No one is perfect, so that includes Kobe and his cheating characteristics. If Vanessa Bryant wants to smooch on her husband and show love to the father of her two little girls, then she should very well be entitled to do so.

We actually could learn a few things from this: One, it’s ok to act civil with an ex after they’ve done us wrong. Two, nothing is impossible when unconditional love is involved. Read Isaiah 43:18-19.

Be inspired, but stay inspired.
