Every Way of a Man is Right in His Own Eyes

The quality of our lives most often depend on the decisions we make. Frequently in life something may seem like a good idea at the time for many of us; but usually it isn’t. The consequences of those wrong decisions will ultimately come back to bite us in the end.

That’s why it’s important to confer with God about every choice we make. If we are spending most of our lives planning according to our own selfish desires, all it takes is one wrong decision to make all we’ve sacrificed vanished and in vain.
It’s important to continually seek God for guidance in all affairs of our life.

That includes relationships with others, whether it is dating or marriage. It also includes our educational or career goals, and most importantly our positions as parents. If we want our children growing up making wise decisions with their life, then we must start making wise decisions regarding our life now.

Always discern whether your decision is a result of God’s will or your own desire.

By the way, any choices that you have already made that has jeopardized your future, it’s not too late to take a moment and ask God to redeem that situation and restore anything that was lost as a result of selfishness.

There are indeed many ways that may seem right to us. But if you study a little bit more, that statement goes on to say that those ways also lead to death (Proverbs 14:12).

It’s not about your way anymore. Hear God saying to you, “This is the way. Walk in it.”

Be inspired, but stay inspired.
